If you have less than 65 employees and have decided that registration
to ISO 9000 / ISO 17025 / QS-9000 3rd Edition/TS 16949 is important to your
business, we offer you a cost effective program leading to third party
registration. This program is suitable for companies with no previous
experience of quality management systems.
Over 85 companies have already achieved registration to ISO 9000 or
QS-9000 3rd Edition using this program.
There are two different approaches to this program. Each approach
includes a combination of on-site consultancy assistance, structured training
for your employees and telephone/fax support. Depending upon the
approach, companies can expect certificates within 5-13 months.
The main features of each approach to the program are described below.
Implementation Assistance
Throughout the program you will be supported by one consultant who will
project manage the implementation process, providing on-site assistance
and guidance to your staff.
The on-site consultancy is supplemented by group sessions at which you
can assess progress and meet with third party registrars. Telephone and
fax support is provided throughout the program.
-
Quality Manual
Early in the program the consultant will conduct an on-site review
of your operation to compile a quality manual and identify the procedures
required to meet the standard.
-
Implementing the Quality System
Further on-site visits are made to assist your staff with procedure
content and implementation activities. We also offer our direct assistance
to your staff in documenting your quality management systems on-site.
Our role is to provide guidance in all key areas. We will ensure the requirements
of the standard are met and the documented quality system is relevant to
your operation.
Training
The small firms program includes carefully structured training sessions,
time phased to correspond to the implementation steps.
-
ISO 9000/QS-9000 3rd Edition Awareness
An ISO 9000 / QS-9000 3rd Edition / TS 19649 awareness seminar giving an
in-depth understanding of the standard is provided to key members of your company
to start the program.
-
Procedure Writing
Assistance with procedure writing for those responsible for documenting
the Quality system. This program is designed to provide delegates with one-on-one
assistance developing the necessary skills to document the quality system.
Companies have the option for the consultant to work with the staff to document
the procedures and/or work instructions, etc. for them.
-
Auditor Training
As the implementation of your quality system progresses, an internal
auditor course is provided. This course will inform your internal
auditors on how to prepare and conduct internal quality audits. It comprises
of one day in the classroom plus a day of live auditing at your site.
Pre-assessment Audit
A feature of the program is a pre-assessment audit. This is recommended
to be carried out approximately 2 months prior to the third party assessment
to ensure the quality system is operating effectively. Any deficiencies
would be identified and corrective action applied. Allowing you to proceed
to the third party assessment with a high degree of confidence.
